Sport halibut fishing will reopen
June 28 in marine areas 3 and 4

Action: Open recreational fishing for halibut at all depths in Marine Areas 3 and 4 on Saturday June 28, 2008.

Effective dates: Open 12:01 a.m., through 11:59 p.m., Saturday, June 28 in Marine Areas 3 (Neah Bay) and 4 (LaPush).

Species affected: Pacific Halibut

Location: Marine Areas 3 and 4 (Neah Bay and La Push)

Reason for action: There is enough halibut quota remaining to provide for another off-shore day of fishing in these areas. This rule conforms to federal action taken by Pacific Fisheries Management Council.
