Sport sturgeon retention prohibited in the Bonneville Pool

Action: Retention of recreationally caught white sturgeon is prohibited.

Effective Dates: Feb. 4, 2018

Species affected: White sturgeon

Locations: Bonneville Pool and tributaries

Reason for action: To preserve portion of guideline in an effort to open a summer fishery.

Other information: Catch and release continues to be allowed in Bonneville Pool.
