Tokul Creek to open early from Fish Hatchery Road Bridge to boundary marker

Action: Opens gamefish seasons.

Effective date: Immediately, through Jan. 14, 2022.

Species affected: Trout, steelhead, and other gamefish.

Location: Tokul Creek, from Fish Hatchery Road Bridge to boundary marker downstream of diversion dam.

Rules: Gamefish open, statewide min. size/daily limit, except: Cutthroat trout and wild rainbow trout min. size 14". Anti-snagging Rule in effect. Closed daily from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Reason for action: Tokul Creek hatchery has achieved adequate early winter steelhead brood stock on hand to meet egg-take goals.

Additional information: This section of Tokul Creek will remain open under permanent rule beginning Jan. 15, as listed in the 2021-22 Washington Sport Fishing Rules pamphlet.
