Tokul Creek to open early from Fish Hatchery Road Bridge to boundary marker below diversion dam

Action: Opens gamefish seasons.

Effective date: Immediately through Jan. 14, 2024.

Species affected: Trout, steelhead, and other gamefish.

Location: Tokul Creek from Fish Hatchery Road Bridge to boundary marker downstream of diversion dam.

Rules: Gamefish open, statewide minimum size/daily limit, except cutthroat trout and wild rainbow trout minimum size is 14 inches. Anti-snagging rule in effect. Closed daily from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Reason for action: Tokul Creek Hatchery has achieved broodstock goals for this season.

Additional information: This section of Tokul Creek will remain open under permanent rule beginning Jan. 15, 2024, as listed in the 2023/2024 Washington Sport Fishing Rules pamphlet.
