Trout minimum size limit change on Baker Lake

Action: Change trout minimum size limit to 10 Inches.

Effective dates: April 23 through June 30, 2016.

Species affected: All trout

Location: Baker Lake.

Reasons for action: As part of a study to evaluate the collection efficiency of the new juvenile fish collection facility on trout, fish up to 10 inches in length with pit tags have been released into the lake. Current regulations are being amended to protect the study fish. Anglers are asked to handle and release any trout caught smaller than 10 inches with extreme care.
