Tulalip Terminal Area Fishery closes for 1 day of salmon fishing on June 12

Action: Closes the Tulalip Terminal Area Fishery (Tulalip Bubble) for salmon fishing on Sunday, June 12, and opens the fishery for salmon fishing on Sunday, June 19.

Effective Dates: June 12, 2011 and June 19, 2011

Species affected: Salmon

Location: Waters of Marine Area 8-2 west of Tulalip Bay and within 2,000 feet of shore from the pilings at Old Bower's Resort to a fishing boundary marker approximately 1.4 miles northwest of Hermosa Point .

Reason for action: The Tulalip Tribe has re-scheduled the Tulalip Salmon Ceremony from June 19 to June 12.

Other Information: The Tulalip Terminal Area Fishery is only open Friday through 11:59 a.m. Monday of each week, June 3 through June 11 and June 13 through Sept. 5. The fishery is closed on June 12. The daily limit is 2 salmon plus 2 additional pink salmon. All other regulations remain in effect.
