Rule change for eastern Washington Lakes scheduled
for lake rehabilitation

Action: Remove daily bag and size limits and change season for game fish on lakes scheduled for rehabilitation.

Effective Dates: Sept. 8, 2012

Species affected: All game fish species and northern pike (prohibited species) in Fish Lake (Spokane Co.) and all game fish species in Little Beaver Lake (Okanogan Co.).

Location: Fish Lake (Spokane Co.): Effective Sept. 8 through Oct. 21, 2012, Fish Lake is open to fishing with no daily bag limit and no size limit for all game fish or northern pike (prohibited species: must be dead before leaving the riparian zone of Fish Lake). Closed to fishing from Oct. 22 until further notice.

Little Beaver Lake (Okanogan Co.): Effective Sept. 8 through Oct. 28, 2012, Little Beaver Lake is open to fishing with no daily bag limit and no size limit for all game fish. Closed to fishing from Oct. 29 until further notice.

Reason for action: These lakes are scheduled to be treated with the piscicide rotenone for fish management purposes.

Other information: Unless otherwise amended all permanent rules remain in effect.
