Walker Lake (King County) will remain open with amended fishing rules

Action: Opens Walker Lake to fishing with a daily limit of 10 trout with no size restriction.

Effective Dates: One hour before official sunrise on Nov. 1, 2014 until one hour after official sunset on Feb. 13, 2015.

Species affected: Trout

Location: Walker Lake (King Co.)

Reason for action: Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife will increase winter recreational opportunity in inland waters throughout the Puget Sound region by stocking more than 300,000 catchable-size (10 to 12 inches) or larger Rainbow Trout.

Other information: The lake will re-open to fishing on the 4th Saturday in April.
