WDFW Sport Fishing Rules pamphlet errata

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has made corrections and clarifications to the 2004-2005 Sport Fishing Pamphlet. Anglers are advised to update their copies of the Fishing in Washington Sport Fishing pamphlet, which became effective May 1.

WDFW will provide additional updates and corrections as needed. Corrections, clarifications and frequently asked questions are also posted on the fishing and shellfishing regulations portions of the WDFW website, at http:://wdfw.wa.gov/fish/regs/fishregs.htm on Internet.

Page 55 - Willapa River (Pacific Co.) from Hwy. 6 Bridge to Fork Creek:

Error: Missing date in ALL SPECIES rule.

Correction: ALL SPECIES - night closure and single barbless hooks required and line and weight and lure or bait must be moving (not stationary) Aug. 16 - Nov. 30.

Fishers must have a current Washington fishing license, appropriate to the fishery. Check the WDFW "Fishing in Washington" rules pamphlet for details on definitions and regulations.
