Whatcom Creek re-opens to fishing

Action: The section of Whatcom Creek previously closed will re-open to fishing for all game fish.

Effective dates: Dec. 18, 2010

Species affected: All gamefish.

Location: Whatcom Creek from the mouth to Woburn Street Bridge.

Reasons for action: The Whatcom Creek and Kendall Creek Hatcheries are expected to meet broodstock needs from returning hatchery winter steelhead to meet basin production goals.
