The Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery (FISH) is pleased to announce the 3rd annual Salmon on Sunset Celebration! While enjoying this free event, swing by the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife's booth where we will have trivia, swag, informational materials, a salmon viewing survey, and more.

On Saturday, September 14 from 10am-6pm, attendees can view the adult salmon up close as they travel to the Issaquah hatchery. There are plenty of family-friendly activities planned, including free family arts and crafts, food and beverage trucks, rubber duck derbies, live music stage, fly casting demonstrations, salmon shed painting, and community outreach booths. The popular Rubber Duck Derby will fill the salmon raceways with duck contestants at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm 3pm, 4pm & 5pm.

The Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, nestled in the picturesque city of Issaquah, Washington, has become a shining example of salmon conservation and habitat restoration efforts. With a commitment to preserving the natural heritage of the region, FISH provides educational opportunities for the local community through guided tours, science presentations & group demonstrations.

Attendees will be able to view live salmon spawning as well as other family friendly activities, and the event is free for everyone. For more information visit: Eventbrite FREE sign up.
