Popular selective gear water near Winthrop. Fishing best in May/June and then again in Sept/Oct. Fish deep with weighted lines during the hotter months of July and August. WDFW access site on lake with toilet and gravel boat launch. Private resort with camping and boat launch area. Expect rainbows in the 10-18 inch range. Fall fishing should pick up as water temperatures start to cool down and fish come closer to the surface. Winterkill events have occurred during the winter of 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 which has limited the number of large carryover fish available.
