Vice Chair Douvia called the meeting to order at 8:31 a.m.

A. Public Records Rules Updates – Adoption:
The Enforcement Program, together with the Public Records Officer, requested adoption of the Public Records Rules Package as presented to the Commission on June 1, 2012. Presented by Joanna Eide, Administrative Regulations Analyst, Enforcement Program & Carol Turcotte, Public Affairs Office.

Chair Wecker moved, seconded by Commissioner Smith, to adopt the changes to WAC 220-80-010, 220-80-020, 220-80-030, 220-80-040, 220-80-050, 220-80-060, 220-80-080, 220-80-090, 220-80-100 and 220-80-110, and the repeal of WAC 220-80-070, 220-80-120, 220-80-130, 220-80-140, 220-80-150, 232-12-800, 232-12-804, 232-12-807, 232-12-810, 232-12-813, 232-12-814, 232-12-820, 232-12-824 as proposed.  Motion passed unanimously.

B. Minutes for Approval - Decision
The Commission considered approval of the following meeting minutes:

  • June 3-4, 2011 Meetingl
  • June 15, 2012 Conference Call

Chair Wecker moved, seconded by Commissioner Perry to approve the June 3-4, 2011 Meeting and June 15, 2012 conference call minutes as presented.  The motion carried unanimously.

C. General Discussion 
Commissioners and the Deputy Director discussed recent activities and items of interest:

  • Meeting with Steve Pozzanghera, Paul Frame & Jay Shepard regarding the Range Rider Project.  Commissioner Kehne was impressed with the work and progress made by staff.
  • Discover Pass Sales
  • Wolf Management Information Meeting in Walla Walla Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 Hosted by Walla Walla County Board of Commissioners, Washington Cattlemen’s Association, Walla Walla County Cattlemen’s Association. Steve Pozzanghera will attend.
  • Outreach update

Vice Chair Douvia adjourned the meeting at 8:52 am.
