Vice Chair Douvia called the meeting to order at 8:32 a.m.
A. Minutes for Approval - Decision
The Commission considered approval of the following meeting minutes:
- October 5-6, 2012 – conference call
Vice Chair Douvia thanked staff for their work
Commissioner Smith moved, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter to approve the minutes from the October 5-6, 2012 meeting. Motion passed unanimously.
B. Puget Sound Shrimp – Briefing and Discussion:
Department staff and Commissioners reviewed and discussed the proposed management options and draft policy language. Staff will bring a revised model for option two to the November meeting.
C. General Discussion:
Commissioners and the Director discussed recent activities and items of interest.
• March 2013 meeting location: Moses Lake
• Fire update and impacts of opening weekend of hunting
• Columbia River Fishery update – Director Anderson
Vice Chair Douvia adjourned the meeting at 9:32 a.m.
