Vice Chair Douvia called the meeting to order at 10:32 a.m.

A. Puget Sound Recreational Clam and Oyster Season Changes – Decision
Department staff requested approval from the Commission on proposed changes to the recreational clam and oyster seasons on Puget Sound public beaches.

Chair Wecker moved, seconded by Commissioner Perry to adopt permanent amendments to WAC 220-56-350 and WAC 220-56-380 as recommended by Department staff. Motion passed unanimously.

B. WDFW Downtown Olympia Properties – Decision
Department staff requested that the Commission delegate authority to the Director or in his absence the Deputy Director for the property sales located at 516 Washington Street SE and 608 Washington Street SE both in Olympia WA.

Chair Wecker moved, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter to delegate to the Director or in his absence the Deputy Director authority to, in cooperation with the Department of Enterprise Services, market and sell Department properties at 516 Washington Street SE, and 608 Washington Street SE both in Olympia Washington. Motion passed unanimously.

C. Legislative Update
Ann Larson provided an update on current legislative activities.

D. General Discussion:
No relevant topics presented.

E. Executive Session
Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i), the Commission will meet in executive session to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency is, or is likely to become, a party.  No action will be taken in executive session, and the public is not permitted to attend the executive session.

Vice Chair Douvia adjourned the meeting at  12:01 p.m.
