Department staff will update the commission on the current distribution and abundance of Northern Pike in the Upper Columbia Basin and how WDFW and co-managers are working to fully understand the issue for the purpose of controlling their abundances and preventing their spread into the anadromous portion of the Columbia River.

| 9:00 AM | 14. Pound Nets in the Columbia River - Briefing
Wild Fish Conservancy will provide a briefing to the Commission on the pound net test fishery being conducted on the Columbia River. Biologist Adrian Tuohy will discuss results from the two-year study and plans moving forward in 2018.

Executive Session Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(g), the Commission will meet in executive session to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee.
