Rule Making Reference# P2023-15
This rule making adopts changes to Chapter 220-460 in order to implement amendments to RCW 77.65.615 through ESSB 5371 in the 2023 legislative session.
The bill makes several changes to the commercial whale watching license structure that include defining a paddle tour business license and separating the licensing of paddle tour businesses and guides from commercial watching businesses (where they were previously lumped together) along with changes to other licensing requirements. The bill also modifies the fee structure by changing some fees and eliminating others.
