City Nature Challenge Meet Up at Meadowbrook Pond in Seattle

Join Beavers Northwest and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife for a public meet up for science at Meadowbrook Pond in Northeast Seattle on Monday, May 1, 2023. We will show you how to participate in the Seattle-Tacoma City Nature Challenge and lead everyone through an observation at the park! Come learn how to observe nearby nature as part of a global event and contribute to community science!

This meet up is free and open to all ages, no sign up required. All you need is a mobile phone or tablet with data, the iNaturalist app (also free and we can help you download and set it up) and some natural curiosity. We will show how you can help by observing nature, identifying observations, or better yet – both – looking high and low for all nature in the Seattle-Tacoma area (all of Snohomish, King and Pierce counties) and sharing your observations using iNaturalist!

May 1, 2023 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Meet at Meadowbrook Pond observation area. (3600 NE 105th St, Seattle, WA 98125)
