The public may listen to the discussion on speakerphone by coming to the Commission Office at the Department of Fish and Wildlife headquarters, Natural Resources Building, 5th Floor, 1111 Washington Street SE, Olympia or one of the Regional Offices. If you plan to come to one of the offices to listen to the conference call please contact Commission staff at 360-902-2267 so we can ensure adequate space is available. |

| 8:30 A.M | 1. Coastal Commercial Dungeness Crab Rules - Decision Staff will request adoption of WAC 220-52-049, Commercial crab fishery - Gear Limits - Coastal, which will improve the enforceability of rules by implementing gear tending requirements and minimize derelict crab gear. This proposal includes the addition of an end-date to the gear tending provision that was not included in the original proposal. Staff will also request an amendment to WAC 220-52-045 that includes the addition of a target season opening date of December 1 to provide more clarity. - Summary - PDF Format (95 Kb) |
