The pond is a former gravel pit that is now planted with rainbow trout. In 1996, grass carp were stocked into the pond to assist in controlling invasive Eurasian milfoil.The pond is located within South Lewis County Park. This small pond just southeast of Toledo has good shore and fishing pier access, and a boat launch.
It is stocked with catchable-size rainbow under a mitigation agreement with Tacoma Power from mid-March into May. Some largemouth bass and bluegill are also available.
Grass carp have also been planted and it is illegal to fish for or retain grass carp.
Two-pole fishing is allowed
Shoreline access: Good - Good shore and fishing pier access.
